In episode 5 of ADRIA Podcast, we had as a guest Solange Martínez, a content creator who has been immersed in the world of healthy eating for over 10 years. From her first jobs at children’s parties at the age of 19, Solange realized that her diet was not the best and that she was leading a sedentary lifestyle. This revelation led her to seriously reconsider her relationship with food and her daily routine.
Solange shares how self-love has been key on her journey to well-being. By making healthier choices and taking care of herself, she significantly improved her quality of life. Since she was little, she always dreamed of being a restaurant manager, and today she is achieving that!
Her adventure in the healthy world began with a blog that led her to participate in Mistura in 2014 under her brand “Vida Saludable.” In 2015, she opened Armónica in Punta Hermosa, an innovative place where ACAI was served, and success came quickly. After the summer season, she decided to open a permanent location in Lima; that’s how, in September 2015, she inaugurated Armónica on Av. La Mar, Miraflores. Thanks to the loyalty of a devoted community that shared her experience, Armónica became increasingly well-known.
In 2018, Solange partnered with the Aramburu Group to open a new and larger space on Av. La Mar, which still stands today. However, the pandemic brought new challenges. Despite the growth of her project, there came a time when she decided to step aside so that her idea could continue on its own path
Although leaving Armónica was a difficult decision, Solange chose to focus on her own projects, where she could make independent decisions. This shift opened doors for her to provide consulting services in several countries in Latin America and to take leadership of the famous brunch at Jerónimo.
However, she felt that there was still something more she needed to do, so she decided to launch her new project: Essentia. This healthy café and restaurant will use ingredients from local suppliers and promote conscious eating. It will undoubtedly be a space where she can continue to experiment and share her passion for a healthy life.
Her growth in the world of healthy eating also propelled her to develop her personal brand, and thanks to her content, opportunities to work with brands like ADIDAS have arisen, motivating her to take on new sports challenges and improve her lifestyle.
In the episode, Solange also shares details about her personal life. Her relationship with her boyfriend, the owner of Jerónimo, started as a friendship that transformed into a romantic partnership, becoming a true team. Additionally, she reveals that their wedding is scheduled for January 11 and that she has learned to enjoy the planning process, with 15 bridesmaids and an “Italian Summer” theme for her shower! Although stress is common among brides, Solange mentions that each person experiences this journey according to their own circumstances. However, she has learned to delegate tasks to fully enjoy this special stage.
She also shares her relationship with ADRIA, which goes beyond being a simple collaboration between a brand and an influencer; she is a fan of the brand. One of her favorite pieces is their constellation necklace. Additionally, she announced that her wedding rings will also be crafted at ADRIA, thus becoming one of the first “ADRIA brides” of 2025.
